Get Involved at The Montana Folk Festival.
We are accepting applications for traditional and contemporary artists from Montana and the West interested in displaying and selling their work at the Montana Traditions Arts Market which will host up to 20 artists/craftspeople during the 2024 Montana Folk Festival.
Selection Process – The Montana Traditions Arts market features the juried, handmade creations of the region’s finest artists and craftspeople. It will include both deeply traditional crafts and more contemporary artistic expressions.
A committee selects and invites vendors based on the criteria: quality, uniqueness, authenticity, connection to regional culture, and the artist’s relationship with his or her community. The committee reviews all applications and selects vendors who best meet these criteria.
