Ripple is a newly recognized education and research center within the Montana University System. Located at Montana Technological University, Ripple is integral to the campus and the surrounding community. Ripple is expanding the mission and vision of the Clark Fork Watershed Education Program to other watersheds in Montana, currently working with Gardiner and Livingston Public Schools.
The mission of Ripple is to expand environmental literacy and stewardship through field-based science and research experiences. Through our work in the nation’s largest Superfund site, we have served thousands of students, educating them about the rebirth and restoration of their watershed. Our programs focus on fostering scientific and environmental literacy. Stop by to discuss our decades of data related to watershed health including songbirds and osprey’s. We have many resources for educators and students alike.
