Maggie Mae Monaghan grew up in the small town of Harrison, Montana surrounded by many local blue ribbon waters. She has been a fly-fishing guide for many years and just recently became the proud owner of MaeFly Outfitters. Maggie holds a masters’ degree in Education and works as a counselor in the Belgrade School District when she’s not on a river. She loves teaching new anglers of any age and especially loves winter and spring fishing. As a huge advocate for women in fly fishing, Maggie hosts many classes that help women feel comfortable and confident gaining the skills to fish Montana’s trout-rich waters.
